About the event
This initiative aims to provide workshops targeting historically underserved and veteran agricultural producers and landowners, as well as new landowners. The workshops will increase awareness of technical and financial assistance from the United State Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agencies such as the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Farm Services Agency (FSA), and Rural Development (RD).
Each workshop will last 4 to 6 hours and will cover USDA assistance programs for urban and small farm agriculture as well as row crop and livestock producers. No registration fees will be charged. These workshops are scheduled to begin in early 2025 and continue through September 2026.
