Services

We are part of Texas Association of Resource, Conservation and Development Areas (TARCDA) and National Association of Resource Conservation & Development Councils (NARCDC) that survey community needs and set new initiatives to add to our services. We also believe in surveying our North Central Texas communities directly to see if we can find funding for needs the communities identify for themselves.

Supplemental Environmental Projects

As a member of TARCDA, Bluebonnet RC&D receives funding to perform Supplemental Environmental Projects within our 10 county area, Parker, Tarrant, Johnson, Hill, Dallas, Ellis, Kaufman, Rockwall and Hunt Counties. The SEP funds are dedicated to a specific type of environmental activity and Bluebonnet works with local partners to identify projects and accomplish the task. The funds are obtained from entities who received fines to resolve a legal enforcement action undertaken by the Texas Commission for Environmental Quality (TCEQ). TARCDA serves as a third-party administrator for the TCEQ SEP Program. TARCDA can accept projects throughout the state.
